I run with this shoes more than 700 miles. Mostly trail, some road. It still ok for regular short trail run. I used for road half marathon a little while ago. I just bought another pair.

Montrail makes a quality shoe and the Fairhaven is no exception. It has a good blend of cushioning and support but runs just a little snug. However would certainly recommend.

There is plenty of grab for those long, tough uphills, and just enough cushioning to help fight gravity on some of the steeper downgrades. I've put in about 85 miles on this pair of shoes so far. They are very comfortable and relatively light. I'm not noticing any wear on the soles yet.

Note: I have not tried these shoes on the road. They're billed as a hybrid, but I don't want to wear down all that nice tread too quickly. I just don't see the... Read more
